While weight can be a factor, you don't seem like you're overly big for your height. I know this won't be a popular thought but I'll say it anyway...doctors aren't here to coddle us. They're here to keep us healthy and help us live better lives (for the most part). If he's saying it's the weight loss that's causing you to lose or prevent you from becoming pregnant I'd ask what he suggests you do. My sister was told the same thing. She lost a total of 7/8 babies that I'm aware of due to her weight. She lost 25 kilos and now has 2 beautiful babies. Everyone is different. If it made you uncomfortable I'd definitely get a second opinion. Sorry, I know that's not very reassuring - not trying to be a bitch, just trying to give some perspective. Best of luck to you

I'm a bigger girl, 5 feet 2 inches and when I got pregnant was 266...I had Dr's help me get pregnant. yes there can be risks but even with diabetes I carried and had a healthy girl. don't give up and maybe find a new dr because everyone should have the chance to be a mother.

My sister in law had a miscarriage and is now pregnant. There was I think a 4 year separations but she is pregnant now. She is a big lady, I would have to say over 200lb and hasn't had any problems so far. If I was you I'd go to a different doctor because it might make it harder but it's not impossible.
