Don't give Tylenol before shots. It's actually bad. Only give Tylenol after shots. And only if the baby has a fever or bad reaction to the shots

I'd never do it before, only if baby should have a temperature or pain afterwards. Mine never had any side effects, so I didn't have to use Tylenol at all. I only rubbed the area of the shot a little bit

@theinkedmommy, oh really? I didn't know that. And see that's why I was told by my mom and family to give it to her so she won't be in so much pain.

Yes it makes the vaccine less effective. The immune system doesn't fully get to work with the vaccine because of the tylenol

@theinkedmommy, she just got over a cold so I don't even think they'll give it to her tomorrow. And there's nothing to do for colds they said and gosh it was horrible I was so upset. But that's good to be over protective and take action before it gets crazy.
