How can u tell if your dilated any and when do they normally start to check u for it cuz I been having a lot of pressure down by my jj all morning and it hurts

My doctor started checking at 34 weeks. Lol. It's crazy how different doctors are

I started getting checked at 37 weeks. it's when you go every week.

my Dr gave me the choice due to me having a c-section.... if there is a medical reason for your c-section? if there is then you won't need to worry about dilation

My doctor starts at 39 weeks, but he checked me early due to contractions

I started getting checked at 30 weeks because my son had dropped against my cervix already and I was high risk for pre-term labor. my OB wouldn't have checked me until 36 weeks otherwise
