question ladies. when do midwifes usually arrange for you to be induced and why? I have a friend who is being induced on her due date yet some friends that have gone a week over their due date and not been induced thanks x

They induce you if they are worried about the size of the baby....so if the baby is small they may want to induce (if they feel the baby will do better outside the womb)...or they induce if the baby is big as the babies have a risk of getting stuck if overly big :) Xx

I was induced at 37+1 too. There's lots of different reasons and everyone is different! Xxx
