what did everyone use to help recover from a vaginally birth? and a csection? in getting close and want to be completely prepared for both scenarios.

I had a c section a week ago today. Not gonna lie the first couple days after were pretty freaking brutal. But they tell you to put nothing on the incision, not even neosporin or pain relief spray. After the c section I only bled enough for one of those giant pads for maybe a day and a half. Regular pads work fine now! And I'll tell you what, if you get a c section you can't walk for about 12 hours afterwards but as soon as you can try to walk as much as possible. Really helped with the pain

My hospital gives you pads that are ice packs too... And I always ask for extra to take home. They are heaven. But any small squashy ice pack you can fit between your legs will work.

I plan on using depends because I always hated those mesh undies and giant pads! is there a certain kind of ice pack that's more comfortable for down there? @elenalee
