Okay so I have a question about insurance experiences lol. I just got a job where I'm making decent money compared to my old one. With my insurance I have a deductible and an out of pocket maximum. Before I wasn't too worried because I don't go to the doctor much but when I found out I was pregnant, I was like shit I can't afford this. I had Medicaid before because I was only making $8,000 a year so I was hella qualified. Do you think Medicaid would help cover what my work insurance doesn't pay? My income is the only one paying for all of this and I'm just scared I'll be broke by the time my baby comes.

I have double insurance, I have Amerigroup from Medicaid and I have insurance from work that makes me pay deductibles too. I only use Amerigroup and that's what baby will be under and whatever that doesn't cover I'll use my works insurance (which I haven't had to use at all so far)

I have my private insurance and Medicaid also.. Whatever my insurance doesn't cover Medicaid kicks in and covers the rest

Yes, if you qualify you can have Medicaid as a secondary

@j.desantiag09, @mommywhit2 @bianca_rose thanks! My biggest fear is that I won't qualify for some reason. Like I said I don't make a lot but it's decent. But I hear Medicaid is more willing to be a secondary when you're pregnant.
