Be honest. Is it weird to drink your own breast milk? My MIL keeps trying to convince me to drink the excess. She says it'll keep me and baby from getting sick. She says that she drank it and all three of her kids rarely get sick. Like ever. And her father put it in his cereal cause he was sick and apparently it's an old Mexican remedy.

It is, maybe it shouldn't because it's the best thing for humans but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't be apprehensive.

Thats not true haha, if your body begins to feel sick, your body will create antibodies for you and the baby, and thats without you drinking it.If the baby gets sick, when the baby latches it will tell your body, and your body will again create anti bodies for the both of you haha

I don't think it's weird to do like taste tests to make sure any pumped milk hasn't gone bad.. but straight up chugging it would be a little weird
