It's a lot of moms on here & people that I associate myself with that I shouldn't be worried . & I overreact. Even before hearing about Zika I've always protected myself against mosquitos. But something about having your baby's head smashed in for the rest of their lives scares the hell out of me . & if I can I'll do whatever it takes to protect my child . @hermommy

well I agree with you, that's what a mother does. We protect our children, I've barely gone out side partially for that reason, I just don't want to risk it. You do you girl

I definitely worry about it. I skipped a trip to Florida in April to see my father I haven't seen in over 15 years just because of Zika. Even now when I start to see the bugs come out for the night I go inside. I won't risk anything that can cause harm in my unborn child.

I am very nervous about it! And will do everything I can to protect him from it!

Im glad it's no cases found in the us yet except for travel cases but I hope they treat the people who came back with it properly because I read that it can be spread if a mosquito bites someone with it and then they get it and spread it that way too

I'm very nervous about it! My cousin got married on a cruise ship in florida and we had to cancel our cruise cause I didn't want to leave the USA. We went down to Florida just for the wedding but I stayed inside mostly and so did my fiancé and we both applied lots of bug spray before we went outside and wore long sleeves.
