ended up right back in the ER because of a distended belly.. she pooped what felt like rocks & belly full of gas so they sent us 2 hours away.. there was a nurse from the nicu in there and said basically.. They're not used to her. she even told me how sad they were cause she left the nicu.. well we get to the new hospital & they do a x-ray & the doctor said he isn't too concerned but will do a CT scan to double check. my question is why tf is there a hospital in our hometown??? they don't know shit.

I have the same issue here. Although Oliver has never been to my local hospital, I lost all faith in their abilities when they couldn't help me with my pregnancy with him. After that I realized they don't know shit. Ugggg. Im sorry you're going through all that. That's the shitty part about leaving the nicu. While you're there everything is stabilized, or quick to be resolved and then when they send you home it's almost like they throw you out without any information on what to do. It can get a little overwhelming. =\ how's the lil one though? Doing okay?

I know. it's crazy that everything was fine now a week later we have all these problems. it almost makes me wish we never even left tge nicu! my local hospital just sends people off like it's nothing and they always say they don't have to tools for that situation but it seems like they don't have tools for anything! she's doing good. she's just fussy cause she's hungry but her x-ray and CT scan came back normal.. my poor baby was just constipated and full of gas. that is all I know for now. @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom
