I'm sure you checked, but are you making sure his penis isn't getting stuck to the diaper? That could cause some discomfort.

after my son was circumsized they told me to put vaseline and gsuze on it for a couple days my husband and I did it till it was fully healed didnt seem to affect him at all id put like a dime sized dollop to make sure
