I've noticed that my baby has been staying close to my sides. Like, I lay on either side and he starts moving until I move. Does this mean I'm squishing him??

My baby girl does that. I feel like if I was squishing her she'd move lol

It probably just makes him uncomfortable so he's repositioning himself to be happier. If your worried I would just lay on the side that he's not on and call your OB and ask just to be sure 😊
