I just moved here in Dec and it's been really hard, I'm nervous for when I do have the baby because I always had my mom around before... not sure how you really cope with such a big move with a growing family

I lived in Texas when I got prego couldn't handle it and moved back to home in Cali it's hard when you don't have a lot of people like family and friends around

When did you move here Nessa? Sometimes I wish I could go back too, it makes me really emotional.

ProudMomma: I too have always had my mom around, and this is my first baby, so I know I'm gonna need the support. I'm trying to join social groups on FB and hope to find new friends for me and hubby.

I moved from Texas to Florida when I was early on pregnant and had my baby here in Florida. When I was pregnant though I would cry so much because I missed Texas and my family and friends. Definitely one of the hardest things to cope with. But I stayed to keep my husband and baby and me altogether. Hang in there. Just stay busy with whatever you can that's what I had to do.

Thank you AMELIA, it has been though already. Very emotionally draining, but I am hoping to get some kind of social life going. Also, did you have a baby shower? Its my first baby, and I was really looking forward to a baby shower.

@korasia, I think we can get out there and meet people. The last time I was away from fam and friends, I didn't do so well. So I'm choosing to get out there.

Yes I understand just have to find the right people... It's hard meeting people bc I don't go out that much.... And being pregnant a lot of people want to club and I'm not into clubs.....

@korasia, I agree its going to be hard but me and hubby are hoping to meet people through some groups I joined on FB. We like going out, just haven't much since we been here.

Yes, we're both from SoCal. We just got here mid March. Joined some social groups.
