I read somewhere that it can mean labor is coming within a few weeks.. and like you can't take baths cause bacteria can get up there now

No that's not true I lost a huge chunk of my MP at 22 weeks and continued to lose it through my whole pregnancy it grows back as soon as you lose it the only time it means labor is coming is when the whole big plug comes out with a bunch of mucousy blood.. There's a lot more to the plug than you think and you can still take warm baths just don't take a bath of your water breaks or you have a bloody show
