In need of some guidance.... I'm 23 weeks this Friday. I'm wondering where do I sign up to these…

My health visitor gave me the information, maybe ask your midwife? I wasn't offered it until I was after 32 weeks though. But might be different for different areas xx

I was meant to call and book on mine after my booking appointment. But the midwife I saw never told me, and as a first time mum, I didn't know that. Fast forward a bit, and a house move and change of midwives, and I get asked when my course is, and I have to say I'm not booked on one. She was horrified and gave me the number to book on. However, because I'd left it so late, the course I should have been in (with other June/July due dates) was fully booked. All they could offer me was one with August/September due dates. So I booked on that, so as not to totally miss out. It annoyed me, as I I thought the idea was to not only learn stuff, but to also meet and maybe make friends with others due around the same time as you?! I've missed out on that now, thanks to the the previous midwife not giving me all the right info! :(

They're terrible aren't they. I've been told so much different information all the way through pregnancy. And also being like yourself (a first time parent) you actually want to be told all the same information to help feel some stability. @ssumner x

Definitely. Tbh, I needed it laid out in black and white at the start! As for obvious reasons, am totally clueless on what's meant to happen and when etc. x
