hey ladies..sorry in advance for tmi. im 2 weeks post natal n my lochia has turned from bright red to creamy brown..I always 'dry up' quickly. however I jus noticed dat my discharge on pad was slightly yellowy lik a lime yellow..dunno if dats normal. There is no foul discharge n occasionally it feels stingy n itchy but dunno if that's cuz of my tears dwn der or remnants of my uti..a bit confused girlies..sum1 plz shed some light. xxx

@purity463 Sometimes the wound can get infected (the tears/cuts) Pour warm water over your bits when peeing :) Sit in a warm bath for a bit :) it will help with the itching...I got a bit of itching and my lady parts swelled up...but a few days of warm baths (a few aday) helped relieve it :) xxx
@beccastirlingx, @winterbaby95 I had a uti ..after three courses of anti biotics its finally gone..if d itching persists ill go get it checked definitely..Im sensitive dwn der so if anything I may hav thrush cuz of d antibiotics..However I dont have any of the symptoms associated wid thrush (I suffered from thrush severely in my sec trimester so i know if I got it lol). Im also thinking d stinging could b soreness wid d tears I got..my labia was torn near my wee wee hole ..either way lik I sed ill c how it goes ova next couple days etc. thanks ladies xxx
I would get it checked out to make sure you dont have an infection down there xxx

@purity463, perfectly normal! I had this! Mines was bright red, to the creamy brown back to bright red and mucusy then back to brown then red again, finally stopped 5 weeks pp! Just look out for a very foul smell! Itching could also be thrush as that's very common after birth xx
