went to er with cramps they said stress but measured me at only 23weeks so dr was wrong on my due date

Not necessarily I've been measuring ahead since 10 weeks... The earliest ultrasound is the most accurate... Anytime after your first ultrasound your baby can start growing at its own pace but earlier ultrasounds all pretty much match up from baby to baby because of early development.. Your first ultrasound and EDD are what you need to follow.. I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead but I still have the same due date the baby is just growing quicker

why would dr say 27weeks and hospital says 23weeks

your first ultrasound is the most accurate in dating. Your baby might just be a little smaller than average. I measured 3 weeks ahead from 20 weeks on & it just meant I had a large baby... My due date stayed the same.

Because the baby is growing quickly and is measuring bigger or smaller than average it doesn't change your due date
