how long are you mommies plan on working?

FTM here and I'm going to work till water breaks or I start dilating past a 6. I can't afford to take any extra time off. Bills don't pay themselves and SO's income isn't going to cover everything.

I worked until 2 weeks before I had my son. I couldn't do it anymore with how low he was and how much pain I was in.

@bri.ogle, I do data entry so I'm on a computer all day so I'm trying to figure out when would be a good time to go. on leave

I'm not delivering in a hospital. I'm delivering at my local birth center with my midwife

I work at a computer all day. I figure I will try to stick around until doc tells me to come in with contractions. I'm going to try to work as long as possible anyway.

I plan on working up until I'm in labor.

@myfirstbaby97, good luck i can't wait to hear your birth story, I have a low pain tolerance I NEED that epidural lol

@kortneye, that's what I'm thinking my Dr will not let me go past 39 weeks

@mrshamilton830, yeah. That's my plan because I can't afford to take leave early. I want to be able to spend as much time with my daughter after she's born. If I hit my due date and she hasn't arrived yet I may just go on leave starting them

@schu35, I would be terrified but i understand the not wanting to go on leave too early
