I never gave my baby a pacifier because ive always heard its hard to ween it off. Is it really hard? How did you do it?

I took my oldest 2s away at 18 months. Plan on the same thing with the 11 month old and planning to see how it goes with the new baby in October since he'll have a paci and the other won't.

Depends on the child. My son weaned very easily and my daughter likely will too since she spits it out most times on her own.

my son took his self off the pacifier when he turned 5 months . he stopped sucking on it and started gnawing on it and now whenever I try to give it to him he doesn't want it at all

I think it depends on baby. my first always spat it out so she didn't use one and with this one i just didn't even try to give him one cause I liked not having to deal with it. but I have friends that had a hard time and friends that said it was a piece of cake to wean them.
