Only took about 5 sessions of 3 pushes. had an epidural so contractions werent terrible. hes a HUGE eater , loves it. my left nipple is so sore but my right isnt as bad .. any tips ladies? i have cream to use the hospital gave me . im really sore below too and crampy..its all worth it though hes so handsome i love him so much .

what kind of cream did they give you ? I tried an organic nipple butter but it didn't ease the discomfort. I now use the brand Lansinoh pure lanolin cream and it works wonders. my right nipple was cracking and bleeding and now its fine after using the lanolin cream. it will be tough the first week or 2 of breast feeding so just push thru it. that's when most women give up bc of the soreness. my son is 3 weeks today and I'm so glad I stuck with it when it got tough

yeah my son is a violent nurser. he likes to clamp down hard and then pull off so that does not feel good at all. but its definitely good bonding and I love not having to clean bottles or even get out of bed for middle of the night feedings
