I know kids are going to call you whatever they come up with when learning to talk but you don't purposely try to coax a child into calling you what you know they call their mama. my daughter doesn't say mama... she calls me mih-me. why. .. I have no clue but she's done it for over a year. (she's almost 2). my husband takes her to see his grandma and she tries to get her to start calling her that because she refuses to call her anything yet can say pawpaw and shane for uncle shane. she knows that's her name for me... like uh no . back up before you get yourself hurt.
