How long do they make you do skin to skin after baby is born 🤔🤔🤔 I feel like that would be all night for me, I'm not giving that baby girl up for anything 😂

I've had both natural and with epidural. I honestly prefer natural! obviously it's nice having no pain but other than that natural was sooo much better and went quicker too!
@number321, I'm glad I asked for a doula extra motivation is key during the whole process ❤️
I had a doula as well and the key was for her to keep talking and motivating me through the labor. and I had to remember not to tense up during the contractions. ..it went by super fast 4 hrs that's it
@daij, you can do it. your body was made for it. just don't let the anxiety freak you out more. yes it will be pain but it's mostly mental. be as calm as you can and ride that wave of contractions. the fear is what I believe makes ppl get that epidural . I just kept telling myself that women gave birth naturally for hundreds of years without medicine. if they can do it so can i
@number321, I want to go all natural so I can be up and about for my baby girl ❤️
@number321, EXACTLY! I dare them to try it on me lol bc I'll go Madea on them 😂 @daij I'm going to be the same way!!!
and because I had a completely natural birth I was able to get right up after delivery and walk around. I had a few stitching but still got up out the bed lol @daij @kasynsmommy2016 they will get away with that stuff when you still numb from medicine and stuck in bed but nope I was completely ok and making demands lol
@daij, I was the same way..technically everything can be done in your room and they will if u all
@kasynsmommy2016, yes I hate that they try and separate baby from you and have them gone for hours. it's no medical reason why they immediately need a bath lol I told the nurses just wipe him off he will be fine. and not to to anything to him until he had his first attempt at latching on
@number321, she's not leaving my side at all! I want to go with her to all of her shots and everything, I'm too over protective lol.
@number321, amen sister!! that's what I'm going to do lol
as long as you want. don't let them rush you. I remember when I had my son they were trying to take him away to the nursery and give him his first shot and bath...but I told them noooooo. so nurse end up coming back a few hours later and washed him up in my room on the side of my bed. he never left or ever went to the nursery the whole time I was in hospital. .. you make the demands
I don't think they make you, pretty sure it's voluntary. So I'm sure you'll be able to do it as long as you like, excluding the time they need to weigh, bathe, and test baby (:
@daij I thought you only do it an hour, I'll gladly do longer
