definitely a bad sense of humor. the young boy even told his mom he wanted to jump in the water with the gorilla. The mom told him no but obviously the little boy didn't listen and the mom wasn't keeping a very close eye on him to make sure he wasn't going to actually jump in. Just saying No doesn't cut it at that age; you have to explain to children that it's not safe and reasons why.

@tiffrae, oh I know ! I was heated about all of this. People need to watch their kids. I'm always holding my nephews hands wherever I go. And I'll do the same with my son!

I asked my SO how he felt about the whole thing and all he said was it's crazy. I told him if our son said that it would be NO and why and then now say bye. I don't take no chances. We visited a small wild life zoo last year and he did very well but was scared being close to a black bear as you can tell. he was smiling but was looking at the other bears not in camera view.
