How do you all feel about the child falling in the gorilla enclosure? I wanted to know what the hell was his mom doing when he fell over in there and why they just couldn't tranquilize the gorilla instead of kill him

They couldn't tranquilize him BC it doesn't work immediately and they did want him to get mad and harm the child. Shooting it is immediate so more affective.

In my opinion it was 100% the parents fault and they couldn't tranquilize the gorilla because it can take up to 5 to 10 minutes for it to take effect. It was a senseless death that the parents caused!

@momof3and1ontheway, Right! I'm trying to figure out what the hell was she doing that she took her eyes off of him for that to happen she needed to be fined and charged for child endangerment if you ask me

I was thinking about how they should have tranquilized him instead but then I thought about, if you've ever seen a bear who gets stuck in the city get tranquilized, how they get pretty angry and he had already drug that boy through the water a couple times. Also I've read that the mom had a baby in the stroller that she was tending to when the boy ran off, but also that the dad was there too so I feel like between the two of them the 3 year old should have been holding someone's hand or something.

@mommyagain, that's what I read somewhere. my husband said that he read that she was standing there taking pictures of him with the gorilla. I would be jumping in after my son. lol

@theinkedmommy, Amen! I feel the same way you do she need to be charged with child engagement and one of the ladies said she didn't even know it was her kid until somebody told her!

some reports say a bunch of kids were leaning on the wall and he fell in. other reports say he climbed under this and jumped that. idk
