Rant time?!! Would you be upset if... Me and my cousin has a bit of a disagreement and when I got engaged I used it as an excuse to build bridges and so on even asking her to be bridesmaid.. Life's to short ect ect... But money issues and no wedding has been held yet 🙈 right she's since got engaged and planned her wedding I didn't expect nor want to be bridesmaid as you should see her friends!! I'd look like a fat ogre next to them 😂 but I thought I'd get an invite along with my mum her aunt and god mother and me her cousin.. We live in the Lake District and they live in Kent so a fair distance but she's invites a family from America to come who they've only known a few years.. Due to parents my cousin hardly knows them.. Also I know I'm due in July and the wedding is August but the thought of aski. Me would of been nice rather than just assuming. They haven't even gave us a reason or spoke to us.. I feel abit hurt like they don't care for our side of family.. Am I overreacting??

I wouldn't say your over reacting at all Hun, she sounds like she's being a bit inconsiderate towards your feelings xxx

@briony1994, it is mean right? No invitation, no explanation nothing.. We feel as if we're the scummy part or the family like the outsiders who wouldn't fit in with the posher side. Like her mum is my godmother too! My other half said that they obviously don't give a shit about you?! Which is upsetting :/ and I don't know what to do xxx

It's a hard situation to be in and I wouldn't know how I would handle it but she obviously isn't as caring towards you as you are to her, I'd put it down to her loss and if she tries contacting you then mayb you could explain how she's made you feel xz

@briony1994, it is but I don't think she will contact me. But I just feel like the family will act like nothing is wrong when it comes to me and having the baby makes me want to delete them off of my Facebook like they don't deserve to be around my boys 😳😅 xxx@briony1994

I'm kinda a bit too direct I'd just tell her thanks for the invite and as she doesn't want you at her wedding then she wouldn't want to go to yours ever but like I said I'm a bit too direct sometimes xx

@tresea, that's what I feel like doing but I don't want to be too rash and just jump right in guns blazing! It's a big family and there so into big family gatherings and family orientated. The wedding isn't till late August either I know for a fact the invites have gone out but feel like if I said something now they'd probs come up with some ahitty excuse and I would feel bad 😂 xxx

I didn't really have this problem when I got married I have a really big family too but didn't do invites just had a buffet for 500 and did open wedding as my family's to big to remember everyone I have around 30 first cousins on my mums side and 12 on my dads but I'm also really close to a lot of my second cousins on my dads side plus friends it was ever open wedding or elope and none of my side really does the invite thing but I did (without meaning to) offend a lot of ppl on my husbands side as they do and I left it to the mother in law to tell them it was open invitation and she didn't xx

Oh wow that is a big family, bet that cost a bloody arm and a leg! Me n other half only plan to have around 20 guests 😂 spend more on honeymoon as weve never been away together on our own :) your wedding sounds like it was awesome though!! I just thought family is family, I would have loved them at my wedding but feel like why should I? Why should I spend money on them ect grrrrr 😡 xx @tresea

Not as much as you'd think no it was manly the food that cost a bit more but the rest really wasn't that bad I don't no the exact number as my dad sorted that out I'm the only girl but I didn't go over board on anything else really only took me 3 moths to plan xx
