It's recommended but you don't have to. They'll let you use theirs if needed.

Unless you plan on exclusively pumping, you don't need to use a pump for a few weeks so that your body can regulate its milk supply.
Otherwise you could bring yours so that your body gets used to how yours works

no... I breast fed without the pump with my first 2 at the hospital. I plan to do the same with my 3rd in a few weeks.. It brings a bond the first few days....
