Can't wait to tell my doc about this tick bite. Google got me scared about Lyme disease and starl or whatever it is. This major exhaustion better be a sign of labor I'm serious I can't have nothing happen to my son 😣😣😣😣 gonna take a Benadryl for the itching that seem to get worse in 2 days after the bite.

Where are you located? It's more common in some then others. You'd also have a very large noticeable bullseye looking rash around it if it was Lyme! I've been bit by three ticks since I've been pregnant and she said as long as I don't have a fever along with achy joints that it's fine! They are known to swell up and itch after they have been removed because you do have a minor anaphylactic reaction to the bite because they do regurgitate spit into you (like a mosquito)! Mine itched for like 3-4 days after my bites. I hope this eases your mind a little bit!

Tn @mrsgower at least I know what kind of tick it was because it was one I've never seen before and after researching it it was a female lone star tick that bit me. Thanks for the info!!! :)

No prob! That kind in general is less likely to carry Lyme as well! @deafmama16

Whew!!! Thank God @mrsgower so I just keep the area clean like I've been doing and take Benadryl?

Yes ma'am! It should go down in a few days. I told my doc anyway incase she wanted to test me for anything but she said as long as there were no flu like symptoms I was in the clear!
