If you start to loose your mucus plug does it grow back or does it stay gone until you deliver?

It will keep falling out. I went to my dr appointment Wednesday and had already lost my mucus plug but I'm losing more mucus still. My dr said your body keeps producing mucus to help protect the baby and since you don't have anything stopping it the mucus keeps coming out.

@6215teenmom, @micahsmama Thank you. I'm just taking precautions since I am pregnant with twins and my 4th pregnancy.

It can fall out multiple times as she said. What you need to watch for is a lot of blood with it, and that would be your bloody show. Its a indication you are beginning labor. From then, your body will begin prepareing for birth. If this bloody show happens before 30 weeks, go straight to the emergency room.
