I think that is totally up to you guys to decide. if you can have sex I wouldn't see why that's too young if you want them real close! my sister and I are 18 months apart and we're like best friends

my kids will be 21 months apart. having a small child while pregnant isn't something I recommend unless you have tons of help.. it will kick your butt. the 2nd makes you more miserable than the 1st.
