I don't really care for my boyfriends family so I feel you on that. I told my boyfriend I would only ever trust to watch our daughter is his 15y old sister. But his whole family, other then his mother and sister, ignore us so it's not a problem for me right now anyways. Remember though, it's your child and you can tell anyone not to touch your baby all you want. If they don't like it, oh well. Tell them to have their own kid. 😂 That's just my opinion though. I'm kinda mean like that.

I Don't allow any kissing EVER. Unless it's me and my sons father and close family. No where near the lips either. I stopped being over protective maybe 2 months in. I was like super protective before and it was bringing a lot of drama, because I live with my mother in law and I wouldn't let her hold him. After I got over that my fiancés family has been a tremendous help.

@mombie2be, half the time that someone holds my son I go into my room bc I just get really frustrated, depending on who it is. and then have no idea if they are kissing my son. it makes me feel weird tho bc I would never kiss another persons baby. especially someone's baby I don't know the mom personally bc that's just so awkward

@isabellesmomma212, the problem is I live with my in laws right now and my boyfriend told his mom HE doesn't want people holding our son (even tho it was me with the actual problem and just brought to his attention when i told him) and (she is very very nice btw) she said that it's egotistical of him to be like that I'm like wait what.. I don't want to make my living situation uncomfortable I just don't think I have to let people hold my son when I don't know them or they are rude to me. so I'm sure this will be a problem later on. 😫

Family is one thing but people you don't know, you have every right to tell them not to kiss or touch your child. Just because someone you know knows the other person doesn't give them any say in the matter. Just the other day I was at a fair and my bfs sister was holding my baby and one of her friends came over and wanted to hold the baby. My bfs sister came to me and asked if it was okay first, even though she was good friends with the kid because she knew she didn't have the right to say yes or no since it wasn't her child. That's how it should always work in my opinion.

@isabellesmomma212, yeah family is fine too me but his moms friends no.. geez I wish I was asked they just say can we borrow him once people are over not really giving us a chance to answer before he's grabbed to be shown off.
