Well it's not chlorine in the pool, but there was a floater thing that he it in there and it's not in there anymore.. He's sun screened from head to toe. @adamsbaby2016 @mommyofdoubletrouble @nicemmcha2015 @mimi602 @darlaismyworld
go for it like i said i know plenty people who do it including my family. even if it was chlorine. my aunt had my cousin in the pool at 6w so she could get him used to the water and eventually swimming.
@babyjjsmommy, I put Lainey in the pool yesterday for a short period of time. I made sure to bathe & lotion her soon after. They have baby swimming classes. That put my mind at ease.
Yeah I didn't end up putting him in yesterday because there were a lot of wild children in there, but when we were down in fl last week I dipped his feet in and he liked it. But yessss, I bathe him right after for sure. I sunscreen him down almost everyday anyway bc were always outside for something, so he been getting a good bath daily here lately. @theinkedmommy
@babyjjsmommy, I'm sure he'll be fine but I've been researching & almost every bottle of sunscreen says it's not good for babies under 6 months. I put some on Lainey yesterday cuz it was a one time deal, and she hated the pool. 😂
Yeah I know, I literally searched 3 different stores and they ALL say that. I only put one specific kind on him though and it's 11$ a bottle for a tiny thing if it, but it's all mineral and not one chemical in it. It works well and hasn't affected his skin at all so I trust this one. His ped said it was fine as well. @theinkedmommy

i know plenty of people who have had thier baby in the pool with a floaty. i dont think i would till 5 months but its your choice mama.

I would but sun screen on so baby doesn't have higher chances of burning. You can take them in when you feel you want to but take precautions.
