Anyone who understands cat behaviour... Why does my 7 month old rub himself on my clothes? If I take off a jumper or if I put clothes I've been wearing on the floor before taking it to the wash basket, he goes crazy rubbing the side of his face and neck all over the pile of clothes... There must be a reason for it! I like to think it's because he loves me and wants my smell on him but I dunno haha 😼

I don't have cats but know someone who does. When she was pregnant her cat done strange things including liking his fur off. When she took him to the vets he asked if anything has changed at home but when he found out she was prefab he said that's why. The cats can smell your hormones and it can stress them out a bit apparently. He did settle down tho and was soon back to normal.x

@titch.82, he doesn't seem stressed at all, he seems pretty happy and I was already pregnant when we go home so it's not a change as such :) @kellym aww that's cute! :)

@firsttimemummy21, my cats live at my mums as not allowed them where we live now but when I visit one of them does that on my coat and handbag.. she goes nuts.. and this was prior to me getting pregnant x

cats rub themselves against things to claim them as their own 😊 that's why your cat is doing this, mine do it to my stuff and to me lol xx
