Would I be a bad person if I feel like the best choice for me and this baby is the leave my boyfriend? He got back into smoking because he's stressed and I just can't handle the smell.... It makes me sick every time and I can't sit near him after he's had a smoke and I feel awful saying this but I don't know what to do.... He gets mad just because I can't sit near him.... But he doesn't get it....

That is choice that you have to make on your own darling. No matter how many opinions you get on this forum that's a life choice that you have to make. Could I ask how old are you both?

It's like I understand he's stressed and smoking is a release for him, but it just makes me sick and I just can't be around him if he's smoking and he's getting mad at me for it.... Which tbh is a really stupid thing to get mad at..

Your both young and most men take way longer to mature. He still has maturing to do and now that your pregnant your maternal instincts heighten to a next level. So your mama radar is going to be high and everything he does or says may alarm you and make you second guess if your making a mistake etc. Don't let that cloud your judgement darling just take care of you and baby which is your primary concern. I had my first son at 20 I can empathize with you.

To be completely honest... I hit my breaking point... I couldn't do it anymore.... He said a lot of hurtful things... I need to think of me and the baby and right now the best thing is to be separated from him... As stupid as it sounds the smoking was a factor as to why we broke up but it wasn't the only reason.. He just wasn't understanding what happens to women when we become pregnant and he was stressing me out to the point where I was scared I was going to miscarry.... And if that happened I would of ended up blaming him for it for the rest of my life and it wouldn't of been healthy... This is for the best...
