My mother tells me not to buy anything until after the baby shower ( bad luck ) so imagine my pain! I have to get satisfaction by window shopping and adding to my registry lol

I dont know it is a saying that has gone around in my family for decades. My best friend starting buying stuff for her baby girl early and then delivered a stillborn at 7 months. The loss was hard enough, seeing all the baby stuff she had gotten and wasnt gonna use was even worse. Not trying to scare you, sorry if i am. Wish you and your baby the best. && congratulations!

You dont need to buy everything right away, just the essentials. Save up. After the baby shower you would have at least a month to get the important stuff if it wasnt already gifted.

@rmarte, I don't want to buy everything right away but I do want to do my registry and I can't really do it because I don't know the sex. I'm saving up most definitely. Sorry for your friends loss. Also thank you and I wish you the best as well well.

I was the same way...I jus found out what I was having on Thursday and now I wanna buy everything but my mom said wait until your baby shower. But before I knew I already started buying girl things cause I was sure I was having a girl and I was right!

@beautifulone1103, I wish i was sure lol I honestly have no clue and don't even know which way to lean towards. My baby shower is all the way in November I don't want to wait that long.
