Know what hurts more than your own daughter not contacting you for almost 6 months, or returning your phone calls, or texts, or letters? Finding out she has her own phone and her not doing any of those things...I know my mom fed her b.s. and told her lies and also kept the fact that I was trying to contact her all the time from her, but it still really crushes me that my own daughter could be so cold to me...She's gonna be 17 June 19th and I am missing out on so much in her life...it's NOT fair that this is happening to me!

I have no idea...I'm guessing it's because my mother and I have problems. She's been living with my mom for almost a year now, and my mom likes to brainwash people for her own personal gain...She wants to look like the only good person in the world in Hannah's eyes, and so I know she's been keeping the fact that I try so hard to contact her from her and is probably even telling her lies. I heard my daughter thinks I disowned her and I NEVER said that

Well, we had a really, really bad year here last year...She and my other daughter Amber usually go to stay the summer with my mom, and last year she decided she wanted to try and live with grandma and go to school up there and get a change of scenery because of everything that was going on..At the time, I had found out (before they left to go there and she was still here) that she was starving herself, and was also bulimic, and had been sneaking out and sleeping with an 18 year old boy, and her grades were all failing, she was smoking and drinking and etc etc the list goes on - all right under our noses without having a clue. She then turned suicidal and tried cutting her wrists and even did it with the cops at my house, and she was baker acted and spent time in a teen mental health facility for treatment. It was after getting her on meds and in counseling and rewiring life around my house that everything finally calmed down. We only wanted the best for her but had to constantly watch her and be like drill sergeants all the time and take locks off the doors, put shutters up on her windows, give her hardly any privacy...it was hard. I think she felt like she could have more freedom at my mother's and that is the real reason she wanted to stay...not for a change of scenery. @lisa0488
