I hate how my dad doesn't want me to pump anywhere where he can see it. He basically forced me to go into the nursery and pump. It was so uncomfortable doing it in a rocking chair compared to a couch. Plus it made it harder for me to squeeze any firm spots where my milk was. He acts like it's nasty and is something that shouldn't be done. It just really upsets me and gets on my nerves.

There's no place for my baby to be in my room though. In her nursery the only place I can put her is her crib and she's not always asleep when I pump. I like the living room because her swing is in there and she loves that and I can watch Netflix while I pump and watch her too. @maya.rose my mom even thinks it's ridiculous that he acts that way. You can't see anything, just the part of the breast that's outside the shield.

Oh I agree, you shouldn't have to hid it but it can be difficult if it's not your house. Maybe if you put a blanket over your breast it won't bother him as much?

@maya.rose, I've done that before and he still doesn't like it. He makes a big deal about it. It just really aggravates me.

tell him to leave the room if it bothers him so much. you are just doing what needs to be done to care for baby and being uncomfortable or not relaxed does affect milk supply.

@showersoverflowers, I didn't know that affected milk supply, that's good to know. And we warn him before I do it but he still complains
