@forsttimemummy21, unless there is a medical reason or ur overdue I wouldn't due it! It's not natural totally ruined my birth and there more of a chance of c section or forceps the pain is much worse as contractions don't build up they come hard and fast I had no break Inbetween them my epidural failed twice and after all that was rushed to theatre for forceps and they cut me which was worst part as 9 weeks on I'm still in so much pain from my episiotomy wound ! I would never get induced again unless I had to but now how bad my scar and wound is would Probz need a section from now on anyway xx

no you don't choose you have to wait until your well over think it's like 12 days unless medical reasons.. and I agree with @cmcdon203 I hated it so much but my little boy was in danger so I just wanted him here safe (i was induced at 8 days over due to reduced movements and he had opened his bowels in me.. I did have my induction date set for the 29th but was induced due to that on the 24th and had him on the 25th) .. it's honestly not nice at all its SOOOOOOOO painful on the drip. I was ok before they put me on that but omg the contractions were so close together and really strong because it's making your body do something it's not yet ready to do also I was in established labour for 17 hours 😷 your baby will come soon shes just not ready yet... enjoy your sleep what you have left lol xxx

Unless there's a medical need they wont I've had two inductions. Nearly bled to death both times. The pain is far worse. Intervention more likely. And my 4th ended up in scbu for two weeks even though I was 37 weeks plus. But I had medical needs and this time if I make it to my dates I'm being induced due to iugr in one of mine, hellp syndrome previously and pre eclampsia twice. I'm on loads of meds this time and needing regular scans till the end. But I'm hoping I go naturally before due

@cayleighnatasha, that's rubbish u had a horrible time to! I chose to b induced at 38 weeks due to bad anxiety due to 4 previous losses worst decision Iv ever made xx

My due date was yesterday and I have to wait to wait until the 4th of June to be induced, it's horrible I got a sweep Tuesday so hoping I don't have to be induced and that works xxx

@amyfreemz, oh I'm sorry lol but it was horrendous but there ppl on a FB page I'm on that went fine but majority ended in section think I'm only one who had forceps and thy have all recovered and I havnt lol xx
