Pumping doesnt do what a babies suction can do, a baby will always be able to get more milk than a pump can if that makes sense

The pain does go away though just takes time :)

@des_a_rayy, that does!!! Just wanting to do more bonding with him but it hurts so bad sometimes that I'm like biting my lip to get through so he can finish eating because I don't want him not to eat!!! Lol I need a good nipple cream I think

Nipple cream helps but I remember clinching a pillow it hurt so bad lol im 11 months strong breastfeeding and its amazing. If you can nurse as much as you can through the pain because baby will regulate supply (supply and demand) but the pain is completely normal sadly lol

Also every feeding switch off boobs that helps a bit! lol

@preggie_help_ios, I'm a FTM and he's only 4 days old! I have a long way to go!!! 🙈 but it's all worth it especially these long sleepless nights lol

For the first month he slept in his crib but girly honest truth I ended up cosleeping and popping my boob out to nurse and as we would lay down we both would fall right back to sleep do you might want to try it, you get ALOT more sleep lol you can do it, it took like 3-4 weeks for the pain to go away but it gets easier! My guy is a boob guy and will be 1 in 3 weeks lol I dont even want to think about weaning hahaha he is gonna be a mess when we choose too lol

What sort of pain is it? My baby was like gumming on my nipple and it felt like he had teeth haha. The lactation consultant told me that isn't normal and that he's not latching properly, so I'm having to use the lactation consultant all the time lol. I'm still in the hospital though since I had a c section...but maybe see if you can get in to see a LC? It could help!

@emkasting, that's what I thought at first cuz it hurt from the beginning...but the LC said his latch was literally amazing! And he feeds great! It's just my nipples sore easy :/ lol just have to push through for a bit!
