Last weekend my friend wanted to take me out for a few drinks. She told me her 20 year old daughter would babysit. I go over there to drop my daughter off and her daughter said she wasn't sure if she'd babysit. I was like I need to know if you will or not. She finally said okay. I was at the bar for a half hour. I had two drinks. I get a call from the sitter's sister saying the sitter fucking left my daughter at her house and took off to do something. She left my daughter with her sister who can barely take care if herself. She is borderline mentally retarded. No joke. She has a baby that her parents care for because she can't do it on her own (forgets to feed, doesn't know cues such as hunger, diaper change) Anyways, I drive back and sit there until 1am for her to get back. I didn't want to drink and drive with my daughter so I waited until I sobered up. Which was 5 hours from my last drink. It was bullshit. She knew her sister was unable to do it and fucking left anyway. Well as I was waiting, my sister called me and I told her I went out and had a couple drinks and I was trying to get my daughter back to bed. She took it as I was too fucked up to care for my daughter. She called my mom and then mom called me to bitch me out. Really?! Two drinks 5 hours ago? I wasn't even drunk! Ugh, people really need to get their shit together.
