I drank a Sprite at 2:30 and have my glucose test at 8:45. Is that gonna cause me to fail? /:

not saying it will totally cause you to fail but theres a pretty decent chance you can fail it and have to suffer going through the 3 hour or so test...if i was you ide call them and let them know and try to reschedule lol but thats just me. i wouldnt do it myself but if you wana give it a shot go for it lol. goodluck!!💖💖💖

They told me to eat n drink like I normally do but try not to have a lot of sugars n carbs....I would just call in the morning and ask. I got a lot of different responses from women about the glucose test. I really think it just depends da of ur doctors preference! Good luck tho! ☺️

I took it not knowing they were testing me and I was drinking a coffee (which I have moca and c&s) from dunks and I passed but I would call just to check. I'm not a soda drinker so idk if it has a lot of sugar or not...

Im going for my glucose test in an hr. I haven't eaten since 12:30 and drunk water all night at work. You may be fine. Just drink plenty of water.

So I was just having this convo with the nurse at my Ob office .. She said the woman that usually don't have sugar or carbs that come in and had something before or started in the last few weeks generally show up positive because it shocks their bodies and they can't process it .. I had joked that this baby was going to come out looking like a cookie or cupcake because all I eat is sugar and I said or I'll end up with GD she said if u have been eating those things up till then u are most likely fine .. I found that interesting
