My friend is finishing her doula training at the end of June.. Just in time for our baby to come. She's gonna sit in the labor room with us and work her magic for free... So sweet of her. I didn't even consider a doula at first, but I think it will be nice to have her since I want to go natural with this birth. Yay!

I would be too, we are doing natural unmedicated and we want a day of Doula also, just to help us incase Kellen gets too tired to tend to me, I'll have someone their who knows what they are doing!

@expectingz, yep! My husband and aunt are going to be in the room with me, but I want someone who is trained to help me calm down and suck it up! Lol

Totally understand, my husband and I are going thru training now, so he should be good in that area, but I know my husband needs breathers too, so I don't want to tax him!!

@expectingz, understandable! Knowing my husband, I just know that when I'm actually in pain, everything he learned will go out the window and he'll just feel bad for me. Lol. My doula friend will help him be involved though, so thats good.
