After our whole ordeal and knowing we could have lost her I just need to say this. Ladies please follow your instincts. Force your doctor to do whatever you find necessary to make sure your child is ok. I don't mean early induction, I mean ultrasounds if something seems off. Make them check your cervix and just be your own personal warrior. Glad I had a competent doctor this visit and he cared enough to go that extra mile. I'm praying you all have healthy, happy deliveries 💖

She had a prolapse cord and it was also around her neck. When I went in last Friday, that doctor said she thought it was my water bag but wasn't sure. She sent me home without being certain. I then saw her for an appointment that following Monday and she refused to check my cervix even though I had been contacting all weekend. I went in yesterday to see if my water broke. That doctor felt the same thing she did. He didn't know what it was so he ordered an ultrasound and caught that it was her cord. If my water had fully broken she would have suffocated. I went five days with her like that. We were truly being watched over.
