I just had a muscle spasm in my stomach while giving my insulin shot. First time that has happened to me while having a needle in my stomach. I hurried up and took the needle out then the spasm stopped. Has this happened to anyone else before?

Are you only on insulin during your pregnancy
@lynna0909, yes that's the way my endocrinologist and high risk doctor told me to do it with my pregnancy.

@lynna0909, Thanks it was on a scar, there isn't much skin that isn't scarred on my stomach.
It will happen it's cause you probably hit some scar tissue that has developed a nerve I've been type 1 for 23 yrs and it happens to me all the damn time and it's very uncomfortable
@lynna0909, This was the first time that had happened in 13 years of being a diabetic so it just startled me.
Happens to me all the time except it's when I'm putting my site in
I used to have that happened in my legs all the time 😥 I always poke at my skin to find the least sensitive spot beforehand, which helps.
