@beckyann24 nope. baby will be fine. baby will take nutrients from you either way...I swear when I found out I had gestational diabetes I cried like a big ass baby but now that I know how to balance out my life with healthy foods and check my sugars regularly I don't have to rely on any pills or anything. if they give you pills don't rely on them because if you still eat bad and take the pills you're more likely after pregnancy to have type 2 diabetes and you'll just find yourself as another patient. you can do this girl

I cried when they told me girl lol but EVERYTIME I checked my sugars were good and I ate what I wanted so I calmed down and it went away

yea I worried a lot mainly because he was a bigger baby and that he blood sugar could potentially dropped when he came out but I don't have it anymore. Once your placenta comes out its gone but now that you had it your more prone to getting type 2 down the line so you have to be careful
