why did you mommy's have to have a c-section? and how was your experience?

I was 40 weeks 1 day pregnant with my daughter she never engaged I never dilated,told me also she was 10lbs she was really 8lbs and there would be a possible complications delivering naturally which could have caused her to break her clavicle or dislocated her arm and also if I went with natural birth it would take 48 hours to 72 hours to deliver with Meds and all,for this baby his aminiotic fluid is decreasing am getting checked weekly to see if it goes down enough to perform an emergency c-section since programed c section are at 39 weeks,and my chances of a natural birth is very slim because of my previous cesarean the opening of the scar is very high according to the doctor,first c-section I healed quickly but the epidural after effects still hurts till this day,I wouldn't be surprised if I have a c-section again I would know the outcome and recovery 😟

My son's heart was dropping, it was an emergency c section. They did a great job. The only terrible part is the recovery. It's long, painful, and I felt helpless.

I was 34 weeks and 5 days and the week before Mother's Day my blood pressure was slowly rising and they said I had preeclampsia. They put me on bedrest, but Sunday morning I woke up with a blood pressure of 177/122 and went to the hospital. My doctor came in and told me I was being induced and I told him Rocky was breech since 30 weeks. He got an ultrasound machine and checked and then told me I was having a csection. They waited until Brandon got there because he had worked that night and got off at seven so my mom took me to the hospital so he could get some sleep, then they wheeled me back and I had Rocky at 11:08 on Mother's Day via csection. It wasn't that bad though. I was glued shut not stitched or taped or anything. I'm still bleeding off and on. As soon as I could, I got up and started walking which really helped me. I didn't have to take any of the medicine the prescribed me, just ibuprofen when I couldn't bare the pain.

It wasn't too difficult walking really helped. I took it slow and it hurt really bad some moments and not at all the next. But now it doesn't really hurt except when I stretch it burns underneath my skin 😩 hoping that'll go away soon.

And my back hurts still.. Sometimes I can't even lay a certain way because it hurts so bad.

@mommaofone1, I had mine 8 years ago only because my body was doing anything to let my angel out.. so I was due Christmas Eve and because I was doing an open ended adoption since I knew I was too young to care for her.. they said I'd have a csection on the 27th and she came out a 8.8 pound pork chop far too much for my small petite self to push out... I got stapled and stitched shut .. morphine didn't not last long since my IV got clogged... but I don't remember needing it after they took it out....
