I think my daughter has thrush in her mouth. She has been eating fine some moments and then having to relatch a lot some feedings. I thought that meant she was full but fighting her sleep so I've been just rocking her to sleep and pulling her off at that point. Well now I see white on the inside of her lip and the doctor is booked and I've been waiting for an hour for them to call me back to find out when they can squeeze me in. I'm so frustrated. The office is on my same street. I'm about to just show up

clean her mouth out after each feeding with a washcloth until you can get into the doctors. if your breast feeding clean your nipples before and after each
feeding. bottle feeding; sterilize nipples and bottles daily. I hope this helps.

@tiffrae, I do breast feed and ok. Do you think it could be because I'm trying to get her to take a pacifier so I can then transition her to a bottle and I've tried a bunch in the past two weeks and I rinse them with hot water instead of actually boiling them?

No I dont think it has anything to do with just trying pacifiers. Have you tried the Garber ones that look like a ring pop? Medela makes steam bags for up to I believe 15 uses to sterilize nipples, bottles, breast pump parts and pacifiers.

@tiffrae, we just left the doctor and she said it's the beginning stages and she said I need to sterilize the pacifiers and she checked my boobs and said they are fine I would have gotten it before her if I was going to get it and it would have been extremely painful

She doesn't take a bottle or pacifier that's why I've bought so many kinds trying to get her to take a pacifier first

good luck. yes I have heard it's very painful when you get it on your boobs. Anything to prevent it for the future.
