What is a doulas ?

@babyboy449, A doula is a trained woman who offers a variety of support during pregnancy, birth and even offers postpartum care. She takes care of mamas emotional needs especially during labor and ensures your birth goes as smoothly as possible. My doula will especially be my husbands support system as he supports me during transition. My doula also happens to be the President Elect of DONA International. Google it for more info if you'd like!

@babyboy449, :) try doulamatch.net or even asking on Fb if you're in any mom groups or things of that nature. Your local La Leche League (breastfeeding support) chapter may even have some resources for you! Good luck!
