So I just lost my mucus plug and about ten minutes after that I had a contraction. About 20 minutes later I had another really strong contraction with a bad hot flash and I couldn't talk through it. And then a normal contraction 22 minutes later. Are hot flashes with contractions a sign of labor? I don't even remember losing my mucus plug with my other two girls so I don't know if any of this is a sign of labor. I was dilated to a 1 on Monday.

Yes, it can very well be. If ur having contractions u should call labor and delivery to see what they say because it's still considered premature labor at 36 wks, unless it's normal for you

Ya it's normal for me. both my other girls were early too. and my Dr said I was safe to go if she chooses to go early. I've just been relaxing to hopefully make her stay in till Monday
