so my ob told me to schedule a fetal echo for the baby. i dont even know what that is. but its gonna cost me 400$ out of pocket. any insight? also, does every mama have to get one? i was worried so i asked my dr and he said everythings completely fine

Your OB found a white spot on his or heart so to make sure everything is okay & to know what to prepare for delivery date.. my baby had it but it disappeared so it will go away at some point

@queenb151, i just edited my post. no white spots were found in babys heart. my dr says baby boy is completely healthy. maybe its because hes a high risk dr?

It's just to make sure all the baby's valves an stuff on the heart is okay and make sure everything is working right. I had two of them done. @2ndchancemommy

I had one done a couple months ago. They had me do it because my pressure is high so maybe thats y they want u to do it? High blood pressure could possibly affect the babies heart so they do it to make sure everything's developing properly. I had one done on my heart also a couple weeks ago
