yes you have been lucky lool...I've been getting them for a while but they've been much more frequent lately and I was worried because I got them quite a few times between yesterday and last night and even this morning I've had some tightening.
with my last pregnancies the pain was very mild at first so thought it was braxton hicks (at the end) but then got worse an worse and started feeling like the cramps I get when it's my time of the month, then they progressed and became very painful and frequent and the time between each one became shorter so I knew then that I was in labour. For my first pregnancy I had an extremely slow tiny trickle of my waters so didn't even realise it was that, I thought I was maybe sweating or something because I just kept feeling damp and it was a hot day and I was clammy anyway, with my second child they didn't break til I was ready to push
so personally for me I don't wait and rely solely on my waters going before I go in. The last time I felt the urge to push and started and then my waters went and my baby was born 10mins later lol xx
I've been so lucky, I've not had any Braxton hicks as of yet but I'm also slightly concerned as I have no idea what I'll be looking out for nearer the end and won't know if they are BH or contractions lol xx
