Carmex !! 🙏🙏 Always used it when I had the feeling I was going to get one. They also have it in the Chapstick Stick or the little squeezable tube if you don't want to be applying with your finger, make sure it's says original formula for cold sores, hope it works for you !😊

^^^^ for sure. I also use campho phenique (don't know if that's how it's spelt) for cold sores at the same time as Carmex to knock it out faster. Don't pop them!! The fluid inside is super contagious and will spread rapidly.

@diannajayy, @haileybuttons Okay thanks ladies! I'm glad you said not to pop it. That was kind of my first instinct before I read this lol. I'll go buy some and see if it works!

That was my first instinct too when I initially got them (I was 14 in high school) I popped it and ended up having them all the way down to my chin 😭. Always wash your hands after applying and don't touch them at all. Apply with a qtip if you can.

My grandma uses this product when she gets a cold sore. You can buy it at any drug store or target and walmart.
